This policy explains what cookies are, which ones addoli.com uses, why we use them and how you can control them. It applies to addoli.com. Our diagnostics site, diagnostics.addoli.com, is covered by its own notice.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things, such as whether you have accepted cookies, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by services we use, such as Google (third-party cookies).
How we use cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use them for three reasons:
- Strictly necessary: to keep the site secure, remember your cookie choices and let the site work properly. These do not need your consent.
- Analytics: to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. We only set these if you accept them.
- Embedded content: some articles include YouTube videos. YouTube may set cookies when you play a video. We only load these if you accept them.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.

|---|---|---|---|

The services above may change the names or lifetimes of their cookies from time to time. Our consent tool, iubenda, scans the site and keeps an up-to-date list, which you can see at any time through the cookie preferences link.
Your choices
When you first visit addoli.com, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and embedded content cookies. You can accept, reject or choose which types to allow. Rejecting them does not stop the site working.
You can change your mind at any time by using the cookie preferences option on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser and visiting again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Each browser explains how in its help pages. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work as they should.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
